FENTISS is a leader in software products and solutions for space. With headquarters in Valencia, Spain, we deliver cutting-edge software solutions for the space industry across Europe, from mission-critical onboard systems.
We’ve recently launched our affiliate in Toulouse, France, the heart of European aerospace. This new team will play a key role in expanding our capabilities in flight software, providing support to both French and international customers. Our long-term vision includes becoming a key software partner for new space missions and ECSS-qualified flight software development in France and beyond.
Responsibilities
Core product development: Join our R&D team to architect, implement and qualify the flight-software for FENTISS products.
Customer-centric support: Become the on-site software expert for our Toulouse-based clients, training, debugging and extending our tools (including CNES’s KOSMOS framework).
- Design, code and test flight-software modules in C/C++ (embedded RTOS).
- Develop Python scripts and automation for build, test and deployment.
- Provide on-site (Toulouse) and remote support to customers using FENTISS and KOSMOS software.
- Deliver user and train-the-trainer sessions (documentation, workshops).
- Participate in software validation and ECSS-compliant qualification processes.
- Contribute to ECSS-SW-Q (software qualification) deliverables and audits.
Skills
- Strong in C and Python programming skills.
- Understanding of flight software development principles.
- Experience with flight/space embedded systems.
- Professional fluency in French and English.
- Familiarity with ECSS software qualification processes (valuable).
- Experience with partitioned systems (e.g., XtratuM, ARINC 653, RTEMS) (valuable).
- Spanish language skills (valuable).
About you

- Computer Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering (with deep software focus)
- Telecommunications Engineering (with deep software focus)
